In the Kara-Suu district, an investigation has been initiated following a report of violations of campaigning rules during the elections.

Social media has been filled with a video, allegedly filmed on the day of voting at polling station No. 5172 in the village of Telman. The recording shows a woman addressing a man who is heading to the polling station, supposedly urging him to vote for a specific candidate.

In the video, the author asks the question: “Who is number 7?”. The women respond that they “don’t know” and simply “voted and are going home.”

Polling station No. 5172 is located in a school in the village of Telman and belongs to electoral district No. 7, the center of which is the city of Kara-Suu. It is important to note that campaigning on election day is prohibited.



According to information from the Kara-Suu district department of internal affairs, the fact of the violation has been recorded, and an investigation is currently underway.

The boundaries of the district include: the villages of Zhany-Maala, Zhiydelik, Cholpon of the Nariman rural district (up to the ATR) of the city of Osh; the city of Kara-Suu, as well as all rural districts of the Kara-Suu district, such as Ala-Toosky, Manas, Zhoosh, and Otuz-Adyr.
