In the Jeti-Oguz and Ton districts, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh are being elected — a total of 16 candidates

In electoral district No. 28, 108 polling stations have been opened, as reported by the chairman of the district electoral commission, Nurbek Alymbaev.

According to him, the district includes the Jeti-Oguz and Ton districts, as well as the city of Karakol. There are 160,181 registered voters in this region. Of these, 48 polling stations are located in the Jeti-Oguz district, 33 in the Ton district, and 28 in Karakol.

“All polling stations started their work exactly at 08:00. In remote areas, including the mountainous zone, polling stations are also operating in the villages of Ak-Shyyrak, Kara-Sai, and Bedel. Voting is proceeding as planned. There are 16 candidates registered in the district,” Alymbaev added.
The akim of the Jeti-Oguz district, Ermek Bakhaevdinov, also participated in the voting. Despite being registered in the Batken region, he voted at polling station No. 3180 in the village of Orgocor, located in the Jeti-Oguz district.

Total number of voters: 160,181

Boundaries of the district: fully encompasses the city of Karakol; fully includes the rural districts of the Jeti-Oguz district — Kyzyl-Suu, Orgocor, Barskoon, and Jargyldak; as well as the rural districts of the Ton district — Kun-Chygys, B. Mambetov, Ula-Khol, and Ak-Terek.
