Recently, a user on social media reported that a scuffle occurred last week between supporters of candidates S.O. and K.Z. Local citizens are requesting an investigation into this information.
Osh region police noted that such incidents have not been registered in either the Kara-Kulja or Uzgen police departments.
“Currently, an investigation is underway. If the information is confirmed, we will provide additional details,” the official statement said.
According to the Central Election Commission, 21 applications were submitted for the elections in district No. 10, and 16 candidates have been registered.
The boundaries of electoral district No. 10 encompass the rural municipalities of the Uzgen district: Bash-Dobon, Tort-Kol, Iiri-Suy, Jazyn, Myrza-Aken, Kara-Shoros, and Salam-Alyk, as well as the municipalities of the Kara-Kulja district: Alayku, Kara-Guz, Kara-Kochkor, Kara-Kulja, Oi-Tal, Sary-Bulak, and Ylai-Tal.
