Meat and milk production in Kyrgyzstan increased by more than 3% in 2025, - National Statistics Committee

- In Kyrgyzstan, there is an observed increase in meat and milk production of more than 3% in 2025, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.

The volume of livestock and poultry sent for slaughter increased from 414.4 thousand tons in 2024 to 427.9 thousand tons, which is a 3.3% growth. The production of raw milk rose by 3%, increasing from 1.692 million tons to 1.743 million tons.

Traditionally, the largest volumes of meat and milk production are noted in the Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, and Naryn regions. In the Jalal-Abad region, the growth of livestock and poultry for slaughter was 2.5%, while milk production increased by 2%.

In the Issyk-Kul region, there was an increase of 8.1% in meat production and 2.7% in milk. The Naryn region demonstrated an increase of 2.4% in meat and 2.2% in milk.

Positive dynamics were also recorded in the Chui region, where meat production rose by 4.5%, and milk by 6.6%. At the same time, there is a decline in volumes in Bishkek: meat production decreased by 45.3%, and milk by 46.1%.
