In the Kara-Suu district, a court trial took place, during which a woman was fined 20,000 soms for causing minor bodily harm. The decision was made on October 27, 2025.

According to the case materials published in the State Register of Judicial Acts, Zhanara [name changed J.B.Ö.] is accused of a crime against human health. The circumstances of the case are as follows.

The investigation established that on August 28, 2024, Zhanara's ex-husband K.R.M. and his current wife S.R. came to Zhanara's house in the Kara-Suu district. They expressed dissatisfaction with Zhanara's social media posts, which included their photographs and videos. As a result, a conflict arose during which Zhanara cut her ex-husband's wrist with a sharp object.

A forensic medical examination conducted on September 10, 2024, confirmed the presence of minor bodily injury to the victim, which led to a temporary disturbance of health.

At the court hearing, Zhanara did not admit her guilt and explained that on August 28, 2024, upon returning home, she received a message from an unfamiliar woman S.R. on TikTok expressing dissatisfaction that her husband was married. That same evening, S.R. and her husband came to Zhanara's parents' house, caused a scandal, and beat her before leaving the house. Zhanara claimed that she did not harm her ex-husband and that he was trying to slander her to avoid paying alimony. She asked the court to acquit her.

The court, having studied the testimonies of all parties, concluded that Zhanara's guilt was proven.

The victim, who testified in court, explained that he and Zhanara had long-standing disagreements. On August 26, 2024, she posted photos on TikTok with his current wife R.S., accompanied by insulting comments. This caused dissatisfaction with R.S., who wrote to Zhanara. In response, Zhanara offered to delete the post for money.

According to the victim, the next day, when they came to Zhanara's house, a verbal altercation ensued. He claimed that Zhanara attacked his wife and then ran out with a kitchen knife and cut his arm. The victim demanded strict punishment for the accused.

A witness present at the court hearing stated that on August 26, 2024, she saw a TikTok post with insulting comments about her husband. She wrote to Zhanara, asking how she knew her husband, to which Zhanara responded with rudeness and offered money for deleting the post.

On August 28, 2024, when she and her husband arrived at Zhanara's house, her father came out and called Zhanara. A conflict arose, and Zhanara, according to her, ran out with a knife, trying to strike her husband, who, shielding himself with his hand, received a cut.

The witness, Zhanara's mother, also testified that her daughter had often been subjected to violence by her ex-husband, which led to their divorce. She noted that she did not see any knife in her daughter's hand at the time of the incident.

The court found the testimonies of the victim and witness R.S. sufficient to prove Zhanara's guilt, as they were consistent and credible.

The Kara-Suu District Court found Zhanara guilty under Article 136 of the Criminal Code ("Causing minor bodily harm") and imposed a fine of 200 calculation indicators, which amounts to 20,000 soms, to be paid into the state budget.

The measure of restraint in the form of a travel ban for Zhanara was left unchanged until the verdict comes into legal force; after that, it will be canceled.

Parties disagreeing with the court's decision have the right to appeal to the Osh Regional Court within 30 days through the Kara-Suu District Court.
