At the meeting of the Board of the State Tax Service, held in 2025, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated.

Kasymaliev reported that this year the tax service's collections reached 391.8 billion soms, exceeding the plan by 8.2 billion soms. He noted that in recent years effective measures have been implemented in the areas of digitalization, simplification of tax administration, and improvement of the quality of services provided.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers highlighted several factors that contributed to the increase in the budget: economic growth, which rose from 8.3 billion dollars in 2020 to 22.6 billion dollars in 2025; significant improvements in tax administration, leading to an increase in tax revenues by approximately 4 times; an increase in customs revenues by 6 times and non-tax revenues by 8-9 times; activation of economic activity in construction, trade, services, and agriculture; revenues from "Kumtor," which exceed 5 billion dollars against the backdrop of rising global gold prices.

One of the key tasks for the current year, according to Kasymaliev, is to increase the salaries of social sector workers.

He emphasized that the Tax Service plays a crucial role in fulfilling this task, as well as in finding funds and financing large infrastructure projects and significant state events.

During the meeting, Kasymaliev also raised issues regarding the growth of tax arrears and the increase in overpayments for value-added tax and other taxes, calling for urgent solutions to these problems.

Additionally, he familiarized himself with the information system "Salyk kuzot," instructing its further development and launch in the near future.

In conclusion of his speech, Kasymaliev emphasized the need to enhance professionalism and dedication in work to achieve set goals.

"At the World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates, we held a side event where we presented the successful stories of our country and a unique model of economic growth known as the 'Snow Leopard.' We must continue to move forward and work hard to achieve new successes," he added.

Also during the event, awards were presented to some employees of the State Tax Service.
