According to the ministry, the current lack of clear regulations governing the inheritance of electronic funds creates legal risks and increases the likelihood of unauthorized access by third parties to such assets.
Citing statistics from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Justice noted that by mid-2025, more than 6.6 million electronic wallets had been registered, and the number of unique users exceeds 3.4 million. The total amount of funds in these wallets reached 1.38 billion soms.
