- The Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan aims to attract external investments ranging from $100 to $150 million for financing the small and medium-sized business sector. This will be achieved through agreements with international financial institutions and donors, which will allow for co-financing and risk minimization. These actions are outlined in the draft plan for the development of SMEs, which is set to last until 2030.

The implementation of this plan is scheduled for the period from 2026 to 2030.

As part of the new approach, the Ministry of Economy intends to create joint credit lines with attractive interest rates of 8-10% for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

Each year, support for at least one thousand projects in this area is expected.

In addition, it is proposed to include the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, and the Guarantee Fund as responsible bodies.
