
The event was held at the Gurey Underground Ceramic Museum, where the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, was among the participants.
In his address, Ruslan Kazakbaev emphasized that the works of Chinghiz Aitmatov have become a common spiritual heritage that connects the peoples of the Turkic world.
The Governor of Nevşehir, Ali Fidan, noted that the writer's works have been translated into 172 languages and have had a significant impact on literature on a global scale.
İlyas Topsakal, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, also highlighted the importance of Aitmatov's role in preserving Turkic history and forming a common cultural heritage.
The event was organized by the EkoAvrasya Vakfı Foundation, the Association for Civil Society Cooperation of the Turkic World TÜRKSİT, and the Chinghiz Aitmatov Institute. Hasan Ali Karasar, the rector of Cappadocia University, also participated in the conference.
