Understanding the culture of a people is impossible without knowledge of the behavioral rules accepted in society. The term "ethno-etiquette" encompasses a complex of concepts related to a variety of ideological and cultural-historical factors and phenomena. As noted earlier, the study of the peculiarities of Kyrgyz etiquette utilized information from various sources: ethnographic, linguistic, folkloric, and literary. Valuable materials for this research included the Quran, the epic "Manas," works by Kyrgyz thinkers, as well as personal observations.
The research revealed that in Kyrgyz etiquette, three main factors play a crucial role: age, gender, and social status, the origins of which trace back to the historically established hierarchy of relationships formed during the clan system. Undoubtedly, in modern society, behavioral rules vary within different social strata (rural residents, urban dwellers, etc.).
As previously mentioned, a very extensive system of terms - forms of address (vocatives) operates within modern Kyrgyz communication culture, primarily based on kinship terminology. It is likely that the tradition of using vocatives has historical roots and is connected to a number of prescriptions that prohibited the utterance of people's names to avoid attracting the attention of evil spirits. In urban settings, this practice is more blurred than in rural areas, where etiquette related to the use of vocatives is observed more strictly.
