Asel Talaybek kyzy, a resident of the Ak-Suu district, is actively engaged in women's folk crafts and handicrafts.

She was born in 1990 in the village of Otuz-Uul in the Issyk-Kul region and currently lives in the village of Tosor in the Jeti-Oguz district, where she got married.

“I received my higher education at the philological faculty of the Issyk-Kul State University and am currently finishing my master's degree at the pedagogical faculty of the same university. My profession is a teacher,” Asel shared.

Initially, I chose a teaching career to avoid placing a financial burden on my parents. Over time, I realized that working with children brings me joy, and now I am happy that I made this choice.

I have nine years of work experience. I use Singapore methods in my lessons, which are suitable for the modern alpha generation, and I apply the 5E model for organizing classes.

I sincerely love my students and strive to create a warm atmosphere for them. Once, one of my students complained of stomach pain and asked to sit on my lap, and she spent almost half the lesson next to me.

In 2024, I was awarded the title of "Teacher of the Year" at the district level. I have an author’s program, and I run a blog dedicated to the advantages of 12-year education, as well as helping other teachers.

For many years, my passion has been traditional women’s handicrafts and sewing. In my youth, I was not interested in this, but after getting married, my mother-in-law taught me, and since then my interest has only grown.

I engage in sewing various types of kurak (patchwork sewing) and especially love updating old, unused items. I also enjoy growing different flowers.

At the moment, I am a mother of three children and expecting a fourth. My ambition for the future is to become an outstanding educator at the national level,” she noted.
