A fire broke out at the UN climate conference in Brazil, injuring 13 people

A fire broke out near the Chinese pavilion and quickly spread to other nearby areas, including sections dedicated to Africa and youth. According to Brazil's Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, 13 people were forced to seek medical attention due to smoke inhalation. Event organizers reported that the fire was contained within six minutes; however, the evacuation process continued, and it is currently unclear when negotiations will be able to resume. Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of the fire may have been either a generator failure or a short circuit, as stated by Pará Governor Helder Barbalho.
