A fire broke out in Belém, Brazil, disrupting the negotiations at the COP30 climate summit, according to reports from international media.
The fire erupted in a pavilion during active negotiations, necessitating the evacuation of conference participants and the intervention of firefighters.
As a result, the firefighting operation was successfully completed.
Brazil's Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, noted: "The investigation will determine the cause of the fire, but I have doubts that it was arson."
