According to police data, on December 10, 2025, at approximately 01:20, a citizen named A.Z. reported to the Issyk-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs that an unknown man, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, inflicted bodily harm on him for no reason on Lenin Street in Kant.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning hooliganism. As part of operational-search activities, law enforcement officers detained 32-year-old O.K., who had a previous conviction in 1992 and is listed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a participant in an organized criminal group. The man was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Issyk-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs. Additionally, an administrative investigation has been initiated against him under Article 96 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. The police are also checking the possible involvement of the detainee in other crimes committed in the area and the region.
