Kamchybek Tashiev emphasizes that although his efforts in the fight against corruption benefit the state and future generations, he personally faces losses, losing friends.

In a recent interview with Region TV, he noted that among those under investigation for corruption are former prime ministers, deputies, and other influential figures, which causes negative attitudes towards Tashiev from their circles.

He cited the example of one former prime minister, whose more than 50 enterprises and other assets were confiscated and returned to state ownership. "Will his children and relatives have a good attitude towards me? They hate me," Tashiev added.

In his opinion, society may not realize the results of his fight against corruption, but it will definitely have a positive impact on future generations.

"As a result of our work, only the state and the younger generation benefit. We must change the mentality and perception of the younger generation. Right now, it may be imperceptible to us, representatives of the older generation, but in the future, it will bring significant changes," claims the head of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).

Tashiev also acknowledged that his life has changed since being appointed head of the GKNB.

"Despite the victories for the state and future generations, I experience personal losses. Among those whose property is being returned to the state are my friends, relatives, and acquaintances. I have lost about 70% of my close ones with whom I used to spend time, and this is not related to my position, but to the work being done. We uncover their crimes and hold them accountable. As a person, I am losing, as some begin to hate me and change their attitude towards me, but society and the state benefit from this," Tashiev concluded.
