In 24 hours, 7 fires were registered in Kyrgyzstan

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on February 18, 7 fire incidents were registered in Kyrgyzstan over the past 24 hours. Eight fire crews were dispatched to extinguish the fires.

Of all incidents, 3 occurred in Chui region, one each in Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions, as well as in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.

In the Oktyabrsky district of the capital, Bishkek, 6 roof pillars of a house with wooden supports and an iron covering were destroyed by fire. Inside the building, 4 cabinets, 4 wheels, one refrigerator, dishes, clothes, as well as 2 wooden doors and 2 plastic windows were burned.

In Chui region, in the city of Kara-Balta, a ceiling fire occurred over an area of 30 square meters, and household items in an apartment of a multi-story building were destroyed. As a result of the incident, 3 people were evacuated, but no one was injured.

The causes of the fires are currently being investigated. Additionally, over the course of the day, the rescue service made 4 call-outs.
