As part of improving conditions for city residents, the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure" is introducing a new payment method for parking.
According to representatives of the city hall, users will now be able to pay for parking using a QR code. "This innovation will eliminate the need for cash payments for parking attendants. All funds will go directly to the city budget, helping to avoid corruption schemes," the official statement noted.
Instructions for payment via QR code:
- After parking your car, point your phone's camera at the QR code in front of you.
- After scanning the code, follow the link to the website GDTI.KG.
- Enter your vehicle number in the corresponding field on the website.
- Choose your preferred bank card, pay 25 soms, and complete the transaction.
Payment can be made immediately after parking or before leaving. If the driver does not make the payment, they will face a fine: 1000 soms for individuals and 5000 soms for legal entities. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
Currently, QR codes have been installed on the section of Orozbekova Street from Toktogul Street to Kyiv Street, on the section of Turusbekova Street from Moscow Street to Jibek-Jolu Avenue, as well as on Bezymyannaya, Togolok Moldо, and on Ibraimova Street from Moscow to Toktogul. In the coming days, full implementation of cashless payment is planned, along with its phased expansion to other streets in the city.
