Local residents are wondering: is this due to repair work or hidden "rolling" blackouts?
In Bishkek, electricity has started to be disconnected in high-rise buildings, as reported by readers of Vesti.kg.
These disconnections are related to repair work being carried out by energy companies. The outages occur by districts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Residents of the capital are asking the question: "Are these outages the result of planned repairs or just a way to hide rolling blackouts?"
Videos have appeared on social media where users demonstrate selective electricity disconnections.
Earlier, authorities urged citizens of Kyrgyzstan to use electrical energy more economically. Temporary measures for rational electricity consumption have also been introduced in government institutions.
