At the opening of the museum, not only colleagues of the professor attended, but also his friends, former patients, representatives of the Ministry of Health, as well as prominent figures from the fields of culture and science.
Ernst Khashimovich was a true friend of "Vechorka." He often shared stories with us about his most complex surgeries, after which patients on the brink of life and death returned to life. He never sought fame, but only worked to meet the expectations of the people who called him "Doctor Life."
The professor dedicated more than fifty years of his life to working in the operating room, saving hundreds of lives. He believed that the main thing was the ability to give people a second chance, not the number of surgeries performed.
We not only covered his unique cases but also offered readers advice on how to avoid dangerous diseases that Akramov had to face. Thus, he also engaged in prevention, and many listened to his recommendations.
One could talk for hours about Ernst Khashimovich, recalling every case from his life that highlights his uniqueness as a surgeon and a person.
- I have never met a doctor who devoted himself so selflessly to his work, - shares memories the honored doctor of Kyrgyzstan Akif Alaferdov. He recalls how in the 70s he turned to Akramov for help for a patient with a severe leg injury, and the professor immediately agreed to help, regardless of the time.
Famous surgeon Ernst Tilekov recounts how, in his youth, he worked as an orderly and knew that Professor Akramov often performed surgeries even at night. His operations always required masks and sterile gauze, as he was tireless in his desire to help patients.
Akramov was not only a great surgeon but also a person who left a deep mark on the lives of his students. Many of them have now become well-known doctors themselves and continue his work.
- I was his patient and then became a friend, - says Askar Salymbekov. - Ernst Khashimovich was a person sent to Earth to help people. He did not seek fame and was always devoted to his profession.
At the museum opening, it was mentioned that Ernst Khashimovich was a defender of truth and was not afraid to speak directly. He taught his students the importance of knowledge and responsibility, and his aphorisms became well-known in the medical community.
Akramov also created the Scientific Center for Restorative and Reconstructive Surgery and authored numerous works that brought him recognition both at home and abroad.
The creation of the museum and the opening of the surgical department became possible thanks to the support of the International University of Kyrgyzstan and the efforts of the team at the Chui Regional Hospital, as well as the friends and colleagues of the professor.
Galina Kulikova, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, noted that the museum is the result of joint work that recreates the spirit of the professor. Here, memorable items, photographs, and even the desk where he worked are presented.
Ernst Khashimovich would undoubtedly be pleased with the opening of the new surgical department with modern equipment that was previously absent in the hospital.
President of AK "MUK" Arsen Aydaraliev emphasized that the cooperation project began during the professor's lifetime and will continue to improve medical care in the region.
It will soon be a year since his passing, but the memory of Ernst Khashimovich will live on in the hearts of people.
