Ekaterina Bivol went to a psychiatric hospital

“Dima's fans from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have been bullying me for two years”

Ekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol, recently posted a video on her social media, announcing her intention to visit a psychiatric hospital, as reported by Tengri Life.

She explained that the decision was made due to numerous complaints received from various individuals, including fans of her ex-husband and his sister.

“For two years, I have been harassed by Dima's fans from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. On top of that, there is constant bullying from my ex-husband,” Ekaterina stated in her video.

Bivol clarified that the investigation concerns only complaints from third parties and has nothing to do with her behavior regarding the children.

“I have wonderful children, and I take them to training every day. You all know about my life. When I react to years of aggression directed at me, some people try to take advantage of this and initiate investigations,” she added.

Additionally, Ekaterina mentioned that she has been facing constant threats, leaks of personal information, and bullying for several years. She emphasized that she independently supports her children, and issues related to alimony and custody add to her stress.

Later, Ekaterina reported that during her visit to the hospital, she had to meet with Dmitry and his lawyers.

An image of a document containing complaints that led to Ekaterina being invited to the psychiatric clinic appeared online.

“She regularly threatens to kill her ex-husband, his relatives, me, and my children. Moreover, the nephews often witness these quarrels,” the complaint states.

According to the document, Ekaterina allegedly threatened herself and her children.

“In moments of apathy, she spoke about the intention to 'jump out of the window with the children.' I spent 6–8 hours on the phone with her every day, and she repeated that she didn't want to live, that she loved no one,” the text notes.

In the complaint, her sister requests to “consider the possibility of temporarily removing the children from the family” and “take measures regarding their mother.”

It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has begun an investigation into Ekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of boxer Dmitry Bivol. This was reported to journalists by the department for interaction with civil society institutions and the media (UOS) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

“We report that an investigation into the circumstances outlined in the appeal is being conducted by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region,” said the deputy head of UOS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Yevgeny Artemov.
