The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Sanjar Adilov, announced that the country will send a request to Russia for the extradition of Ekaterina Bivol. This was reported by Tengrinews.

He specified that a criminal case has been initiated against Bivol and she has been placed on the international wanted list. "Investigative actions are ongoing. We are in contact with the Russian law enforcement agencies. If she is detained, we will raise the issue of her extradition through the General Prosecutor's Office," Adilov added in the corridors of the Senate.

In response to journalists' questions about how the extradition could be carried out, considering that Ekaterina is a citizen of Russia, Adilov replied: "In the event of her detention, we will appeal to the General Prosecutor's Office with a request for her extradition."

It was previously reported that Ekaterina Bivol had been placed on the wanted list, and the court had issued a decision for her arrest. Soon, a notice for her capture appeared in the public domain.

We remind you that the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek had previously charged Ekaterina Bivol under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, or interregional hostility." This was a result of a video in which she expressed xenophobic and obscene opinions towards the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
