Today, a monument to Makken Sydykbajev, an outstanding people's artist of Kyrgyzstan, was ceremoniously unveiled at the Ala-Archa memorial complex. He is also known as a talented scenographer and painter.
This event gathered numerous participants, including Askarala Madaminov, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, as well as prominent figures in the arts and close relatives of the master.
Makken Sydykbajev (1937–2023) left a significant mark on Kyrgyz theater by introducing new aesthetic approaches and greatly elevating the artistic level of theatrical art, which influenced the development of future creative generations.
The erected monument has become a symbol of deep respect for the artist's contribution to the culture of Kyrgyzstan and his significance to society.
