“When will new canopies and benches be installed at the stops on Akhunbaev Street, which runs from Karadaryn Street to Bektenov Street? The old structures were removed during the renovation of Akhunbaev Street. The renovation was completed several months ago, but new stop complexes have not yet appeared. People, including the elderly and schoolchildren, are forced to wait for transport in the open air — both in the sun and in the rain,” they shared.
As reported by the press service of the Bishkek city hall, referring to the Oktyabrsky district administration, a request has been sent to the municipal property management to expedite the installation of stops on Akhunbaev Street. The district administration also added that the completion of the street renovation occurred in October 2025, and the installation of new complexes is planned for spring 2026.
