From December 20 to 21, as part of the celebrations for the centenary of Kyrgyz sports, a kok-boru tournament took place. The competition, held in Batken, featured 10 teams from the city itself and the Batken region.
At the end of the tournament, the winners received diplomas, medals, a trophy, and cash prizes from the local department of physical culture and sports. Special awards were also presented in categories such as "Best Ulakchi," "Best Argymak," and "For the Greatest Contribution."
The total prize fund for the tournament amounted to 300,000 soms.
Results of the tournament:
- 1st place — team "Buzhum-2," 70,000 soms;
- 2nd place — team "Batken-1," 50,000 soms;
- 3rd place — team "Buzhum-1," 35,000 soms;
- 4th place — team "Karabak," 25,000 soms.
