Young athletes from Jumgal won prize places at the competitions in Naryn

Young athletes from the Jumgal district took prize places in the competitions dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz sports, held in Naryn.

In the competitions among teenagers, organized by the Naryn regional department of physical culture and sports in honor of the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz sports, young athletes from the Jumgal district demonstrated impressive results and secured prize places.

According to the director of the Kalyk Akayev secondary school in the village of Kyzyl-Jyldyz, Jumgal district, Kudaybergen Chalov, the students of the school have achieved significant success in sports this year.

He noted that 11th-grade student Baktyyar Toktobekov took 2nd place in boxing at the regional competitions in Naryn, while 10th-grade student Zhetigen Karabaev became a bronze medalist, finishing in 3rd place. Additionally, 4th-grade student Gulbara Samudinova secured 2nd place in the open championship of the city of Naryn in girls' wrestling.

At the open championship in freestyle wrestling among teenagers, organized by the Orozbek Orozaliev children's and youth sports school of the Min-Kush rural district in Jumgal, the winners included 7th-grade student Adilet Mamyraliyev, 5th-grade student Askhat Mamyraliyev, and 4th-grade student Arsen Baymamatov. The second place in these competitions was taken by 5th-grade student Rayimbek Toktonazarov.

According to Chalov, under the presidential decree on the spiritual and moral development of personality and physical education, the students of the Kalyk Akayev public school are achieving prize places in boxing and freestyle wrestling.
