Faridin Uulu Kutman, a native of the village of Ak-Dobo in the Bakai-Ata district of the Talas region, has won two gold medals at arm wrestling competitions held in Dubai, UAE.

According to his mother, Aizat Altymyshova, the 22-year-old athlete earned these awards at a tournament for people with disabilities. "Kutman was born with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. We took him to school until the 4th grade, and then until the 9th grade, teachers came to our home to teach him. Despite moving in a wheelchair, he actively engages in sports. In the summer, he enjoys swimming and also participates in arm wrestling competitions," she said.

At the Paralympics in Dubai, Kutman competed using both his right and left hands, and he managed to win both matches, earning him two gold medals. "We are proud of him. All our relatives and fellow villagers warmly welcomed him and expressed their support. For us, seeing our child achieve success and be passionate about his hobby is a great joy. I wish him a bright future and hope that he continues to conquer new heights," Aizat added.

Faridin is one of four children in the family.
