Beksultan Aitmatov won gold at the Pan American Cup in Canada

At the Pan American Judo Cup for boys and juniors held in Canada, Kyrgyz athlete Beksultan Aitmatov won two medals.

The competition took place on November 13-14 in Montreal.

On the first day, November 13, the junior matches were held, where Aitmatov competed in the weight category up to 100 kg. He won against a Canadian athlete but then lost to a representative from the USA. In the consolation matches, the Kyrgyz athlete managed to defeat opponents from Canada and the United Kingdom, earning him a bronze medal.

On the following day, November 14, Beksultan stepped onto the tatami in the category over 90 kg among boys. He started with a victory over an American athlete, and in the final, he triumphed over a Canadian, winning the gold medal.
