At the international CAVA Cup tournament taking place in the capital of the Maldives, Male, the women's volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan has reached the final.
During the group stage, the Kyrgyz team secured second place, winning against the teams of Afghanistan and Bangladesh, but suffered a defeat against the tournament hosts — the Maldives team.
In the semifinals held on December 24, the Kyrgyz national team faced the Afghan team again and won the match with a score of 3:1, which allowed them to advance to the final.
Now the Kyrgyz team will meet the tournament hosts in the decisive match scheduled for December 25.
