Erkinov will be responsible for issues related to digitalization in the healthcare sector.
It is worth noting that his predecessor in this position, Nurgul Adnaeva, was appointed in April of this year.

Previously, Temirbek Erkinov held the position of assistant to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov and headed the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. In May 2023, he came into the spotlight when he was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) in a corruption case. However, he was later released from pre-trial detention by a court decision after a plea deal with the investigation, admitting his guilt at the request of the GKNB investigator.
It is also worth mentioning that Temirbek Erkinov previously served as the Honorary Consul of Bangladesh in Kyrgyzstan.
In October 2024, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
