According to the village administration, rehabilitation work is being carried out on the drinking water supply system on Eastern Street. Earlier, residents reported on social media that dirty water had allegedly started to flow into their homes.
The village administration explained that during the pipeline upgrade, contractors accidentally damaged a section of the pipe. The damage was repaired the following morning. During the period before the repair, dirty water could indeed have been coming through the damaged area; however, the situation has already been rectified.
Currently, as part of the project, work is ongoing in the rural district to rehabilitate 10.6 km of water supply networks on Alma-Ata Street and reconstruct 3.5 km of water supply networks on Eastern Street.
According to the village administration, the contracting organizations, OsOO "Shef-Montazh" and OsOO "Agat-Kg," have purchased all necessary materials in accordance with the projects that have passed state and environmental expertise. The deadline for completion of the work is set for May 1, 2026.
On other adjacent streets in the village of Lenin, the replacement of the existing water pipeline will be carried out by the municipal enterprise "Yntymak-Dostuk," which has the necessary equipment and machinery.
