"Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of successful treatment. For timely and accurate detection of diseases, the state needs a powerful laboratory base," the minister emphasized.In light of the above, the Ministry of Health has begun work on a project to create a modern reference laboratory in Bishkek, which will be equipped with advanced technologies and have developed logistics and digital infrastructure. The centralized laboratory with a network of regional branches will ensure high quality standards and improve accessibility to diagnostics for the population, as noted by the ministry.
Dosmambetov also instructed the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy to consider the possibility of opening a faculty for training specialists in laboratory medicine, and medical colleges to enhance the training of laboratory technicians.
