On January 25, a new cycle of art sessions dedicated to world painting titled "The Art of Hope" will begin at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The main idea of the cycle is to consider painting as a means of supporting individuality, inner dignity, and resilience. This project touches on themes of resilience, empathy, and hope. Artists not only reflected crises but also helped people regain a sense of self-worth by finding beauty in the mundane and offering new perspectives on the world, as well as artistically contemplating ways out of difficult situations.

The first art session will focus on the theme "Creativity and Healing." During the event, based on the biography and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, we will discuss how painting can become a source of strength to help cope with serious illnesses and life challenges.

The session program includes mini-lectures, interactive elements, and discussions.

Art historian Nargiz Sataeva, a junior researcher at the KNMAI, will conduct this art session. The events will be held in Kyrgyz, in groups of up to 20 people, with prior registration. Each session will last 1.5 hours.
