In Bishkek, officers of the criminal investigation department of the October district police detained a man suspected of committing apartment burglaries.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, on the night of January 4, 2026, an unknown criminal broke a window and entered a house on Maldybaev Street, from which he stole a gold ring and wristwatch with a total value of about 900 US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning theft.
During operational activities, a previously convicted citizen named K.S., born in 1988, was identified and detained. The suspect was taken to the Investigative Service and subsequently placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, his possible involvement in other similar crimes is being investigated.
