
Recently, a meeting of the board was held at the headquarters of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), where the results of operational and service activities over the past year were presented. The event was attended by Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and head of the SCNS. The information was provided by the press service of the agency.
According to the press service, over the past five years, thanks to anti-corruption and operational-investigative actions, 352 billion soms have been returned to the country's budget, which is equivalent to 4.14 billion US dollars. These funds include not only financial assets but also state property, land plots, and other valuables.
Kamchybek Tashiev noted the success of the national security agencies in ensuring public and state security, combating organized crime and corruption. He emphasized the need to identify and prevent illegal actions by officials, as well as to cleanse government bodies of corrupt elements.
All returned assets have been credited to a special account of the Stabilization Fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. These funds are used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of social projects, infrastructure development, and improving the welfare of the population.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of central and territorial divisions of the SCNS.
