Parents, addressing the Call Center Kaktus.media, expressed dissatisfaction regarding the lack of teachers at school No. 65.

They claim that the quality of education at this school has significantly declined in the 2024-2025 academic year due to reasons beyond the control of the administration or teachers. The main issue is the catastrophic shortage of staff, including class supervisors.

This academic year, we have changed our class supervisor three times.

According to the parents, their children have been unable to study core subjects such as Russian, English, chemistry, and biology for over six months.

This leads to students losing basic knowledge and falling behind the curriculum, putting them at a disadvantage compared to other educational institutions. "Our children are not to blame for the management issues and the inaction of the responsible authorities," they note.

Parents place the responsibility on the Ministry of Education.

In their opinion, teachers working under conditions of acute staff shortages cannot be held accountable. The Ministry should ensure that schools are staffed with qualified educators, monitor the quality of education, and prevent long breaks in teaching core subjects. "We, the parents, want to know who will be responsible for the lost time and knowledge of our children," they say.

Parents demand:The editorial team of Kaktus.media reached out to the Department of Education of the Bishkek City Hall and the Ministry of Education for comments.

The department reported that the principal of school No. 65 has been on sick leave since January 20, and the appeal will be considered after her return to work. The responsibility for staff selection lies with the principal.

The Ministry of Education assured that it would investigate the situation regarding the shortage of teachers.
