The main heat and power plant of Bishkek continues to operate in normal mode, providing a constant and stable supply of electrical and thermal energy to consumers in the capital. This information was provided by the press service of the city administration.

As of February 2, the average capacity of the CHP plant is 455 megawatts. The daily volume of thermal energy supplied reaches 9,285 gigacalories, while electricity generation amounts to 10,925 kilowatt-hours. In the process of operation, 7,831 tons of coal and 368 thousand normal cubic meters of gas are used per day.
There are 15 boiler units and 7 turbo units with cross-connections installed at the station, and two power units — No. 3 and 4 — are in operation.

Currently, 9 boiler units, 4 turbo units with cross-connections, and both power units are in operation.

As part of the preparations for the heating season of 2025/2026, the supply of 1.4 million tons of coal is planned to ensure reliable delivery of electrical and thermal energy. The supply schedule will remain in effect until the current heating season is fully completed.

As of February 2, the coal stock at the CHP plant amounts to 204,537 tons, which guarantees stable and uninterrupted operation of the station during the current heating period.

The Bishkek CHP plant continues its operations in a stable manner, taking all necessary measures to ensure reliable energy supply to the population and enterprises.
