Bishkek CHPP is operating in normal mode - city hall
The city hall reported that the Bishkek CHPP is functioning in normal mode and fully meets the city's needs for thermal energy.

As of January 13, the station demonstrates an average electrical capacity of 460 megawatts. The volume of thermal energy supplied amounted to 8,694 thousand gigacalories, while electricity generation reached 11,034 thousand kilowatt-hours. The CHPP consumes 7,470 thousand tons of coal and 390 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.

The thermal power plant has 15 boiler units, 7 turbo units with cross connections, and 2 power blocks (numbers 3 and 4). Currently, 10 boiler units, 5 turbo units, and 2 power blocks are in operation, while one boiler unit and one turbo unit are under repair. Four boiler units and one turbo unit are in reserve.

To prepare for the heating season of 2025/2026, the CHPP plans to supply 1.4 million tons of coal to ensure uninterrupted supply of thermal and electrical energy. The delivery schedule is set until the end of the heating period.

As of today, the coal reserve at the CHPP warehouse is 189,416 thousand tons.
