During the meeting of the permanent commission on economics, budget, finance, and investments held on February 3, the first deputy mayor of Bishkek, Mirlan Baigonchokov, announced the city's plans to purchase about 600 new buses.

He clarified that these are not standard 12-meter buses, but rather more compact models approximately 8 meters long. This decision is due to the narrow streets on the outskirts of the capital, where larger buses cannot maneuver and turn around, noted Baigonchokov.

Currently, the city administration is seeking funding for this purchase.
