The construction of a new building for the Bishkek City Hall is scheduled for 2026. This information was announced at a joint meeting of the city council factions "Emgek" and "Zhańy Kүch" on February 3. Bishkek's Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov confirmed the details about the project.

Deputy from the "Emgek" faction Elmir Dosaliev raised the question of starting the construction of the new city hall building.

Kadyrov noted that the project for the new building was developed back in 2020; however, it is currently undergoing adjustments to increase its capacity.

"Construction work is planned to begin after the adjustments are completed, which is expected by the end of this week. The building will have two underground floors with parking," the vice mayor reported.

Previously, the capital construction department of the city hall clarified that the new building will be erected on the site of the parking lot behind the current municipal building, away from Kyiv Street, 7. Currently, this parking lot is not operational.
