Will it be demolished or turned into a museum?
Today, February 3, Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov announced at a meeting of the deputy factions about the start of construction of a new building for the Bishkek city hall.
According to him, the project was developed back in 2020, but construction will only begin now. The new building will be located behind the current municipality, on Kyiv Street, in the area of the parking zone.
It is planned that construction work will start at the end of this week.
The vice mayor noted that the new building will have two underground floors with parking.
As for the old building, the official did not specify whether it will be demolished or transformed into a museum, as was the case with the Western bus station.
