Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that deputies represent the interests of their constituents.
Against the backdrop of the discussion on the initiative to extend the training period for obtaining a driver's license to 10 months, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, defended the deputies.
He pointed out that the executive branch should not criticize parliamentarians for their opinions, as deputies are the voice of the people and represent the interests of their constituents.
The speaker emphasized: "Deputies constantly support the actions of the cabinet of ministers and adopt government bills. However, there should be respect from the executive branch towards the parliament."
Turgunbek uulu expressed hope that his words would be heard and provoke appropriate reactions.
The speaker's remarks were prompted by criticism on social media directed at deputy Kunduzbek Sulaymanov, who had previously spoken out against extending the training period in driving schools to 10 months.
Sulaymanov himself stated in the Jogorku Kenesh that this criticism comes from the executive branch.
