In January 2026, two raids were conducted in the Lenin district of Bishkek, organized by the internal affairs department and relevant services as part of the preventive campaign "Baldar emgegi" and "Selsayak." The press service of the mayor's office reported this.
The main goal of these activities was to prevent and suppress cases of child involvement in the worst forms of labor, as well as to identify minors who were without adult supervision and engaged in begging.

As a result of the raids, 18 minors were identified:
Of these, 11 were found in public places at night without the accompaniment of legal representatives, while 7 were during the daytime outside of the educational process at workplaces.
All teenagers were handed over to the care of their parents or other legal representatives.
Additionally, official letters were sent regarding six minors residing in other districts of the city for necessary measures to be taken in accordance with the law.

Explanatory conversations were held with 12 teenagers living in the Lenin district, as well as with their legal representatives.
Preventive measures in this area continue.
