He noted that as a result of the administrative-territorial reform, the number of residential areas in the capital has increased to 105.
“Currently, more than half of them already have gas supply. Our task is to connect the remaining areas to gas, which will affect about 60,000 households. We plan to do this over the next five years,” Aldayev added.
In addition, he reported on an ongoing preferential lending project for gasification, which has been in operation for three years. In the future, it is planned to expand its application not only for gasification but also for renewable energy sources and heat pumps. The entire republic will also be covered. Gas tariffs are regulated by government authorities and depend on the exchange rate of the dollar.
