Luxury train on the route Beijing - Tashkent will pass through Kyrgyzstan

The British company Golden Eagle Luxury Trains has announced the launch of a new luxury rail tour called "The Great Silk Road by Train." Details were published in the international travel magazine Travel and Tour World.

This route will take 22 days and cover five countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The total length of the journey will be 3,862 kilometers, starting in Beijing and ending in Tashkent.

The excursion program will focus on significant historical and cultural sites related to the ancient Silk Road. In China, tourists will be able to visit attractions such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army in Xi'an, and the famous Mogao Caves in Dunhuang.

In Uzbekistan, the route includes visits to the historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and hold great significance for the history of the Silk Road.

Additional activities have been added to the excursions, such as camel rides in the Gobi Desert and a private flight to Almaty.

However, the company's official materials do not yet provide information about the specific cities and stations the train will pass through in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the planned stops.

The cost of the journey starts at $50,700 per person based on double occupancy. This amount includes accommodation, meals, the excursion program, transfers, and medical insurance.

The first departure is scheduled for the period from September 21 to October 12, 2026.
