According to information from the State Center for Vehicle Registration, the training period for driving in state driving schools may be reduced to 4 months.
The agency reported that, under the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, options for reducing the training period are being considered, which, according to new regulations, will be 10 months.
Trainees who demonstrate good results during the training process will be able to take the test after four months and receive a temporary license valid for one year. If they do not violate traffic rules during this period, they will be issued permanent driver's licenses.
It is also worth noting that from February 10, online registration for citizens to enroll in state driving schools will begin in the Kyrgyz Republic, along with the implementation of updated driver training programs.
Licenses for private driving schools have been revoked.
