A repeated competition has been announced for the development of textbooks on the Kyrgyz language

The Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the publishing house "Okuu Kitibi," has announced an open competition for selecting authors who will develop textbooks in the Kyrgyz language for general educational institutions. The competition covers both the native and second language.

This event is part of a state program aimed at updating the content of textbooks and transitioning to a 12-year education system.

The acceptance of documents will last until February 28, 2026. Applications can be submitted through the website kitepkura.edu.kg or to the Ministry of Education.

It was previously reported that in the first competition for the subject "Kyrgyz Language," 24 applications were submitted, from which five authors were selected. However, there arose a need to attract additional specialists.
