As part of the program implementation, the following works are scheduled for this year:
- construction of 19 kilometers of new roads;
- reconstruction of 100 kilometers of existing roads;
- construction of six new bridges;
- erection of one road interchange funded by the local budget.
The city hall noted that in the past year, 92 kilometers of roads were repaired, and in the next year, 2024, it is planned to update 62 kilometers. For comparison, until 2023, an average of only 17 kilometers was constructed per year.
Thus, compared to previous years, the volume of road construction in 2025 has increased fivefold.The mayor added that the approach to road construction has been revised: now engineering networks are replaced first, and only then is the construction and major repair of the road surface carried out. In addition, a project for the creation of multi-level parking lots is being considered.
