Human rights activist Cholpon Jakupova expressed her opinion on the recent public arrests of law enforcement officials, sharing her thoughts on social media.
According to her, there have been "special operations" in the country lately concerning the detention of representatives of the security forces.
“Some are happy, saying, now you are also under fire, others just watch, and a third group tiredly remarks: ‘Let one cover the other, they deserve it.’ Each of them is right in their own way,” Jakupova noted.
At the same time, the human rights activist expressed her feelings of bitterness and serious concern, emphasizing that departmental conflicts, “mask shows for the camera,” and deliberate public humiliation are once again being observed.
“Is it impossible to stop this endless cycle? The best way to show that you are not as lawless as they are is to demonstrate knowledge of the law and respect for oneself,” she added.
Cholpon Jakupova called for an end to the "wars" — departmental, regional, and national, emphasizing that there are already enough alarming moments, and she is tired of the feeling of being "on the eve of a grand catastrophe."
In conclusion, she expressed hope that law enforcement agencies and officers understand the value of peace and stability better than many.
