The deputy called for resolving contentious issues only within the legal framework
From the podium of the parliament, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov expressed his support for Marlen Mamataliyev's candidacy for the position of Speaker.
During his speech, he thanked the voters of the 13th district, noting that the trust placed in him is a serious responsibility. Mamytov emphasized that the work of the parliament must be carried out in strict accordance with the law, ensuring political stability and serving as a platform for consensus in difficult times.
Discussing the recent statement made by 75 deputies, he highlighted that all contentious situations should be resolved exclusively through legal means—without pressure and intrigue, and if necessary, by appealing to the Constitutional Court. Mamytov reminded that in challenging moments, the parliament must always strive to maintain peace in the country.
He addressed the new speaker with hopes for fair and lawful leadership of the parliament. In conclusion, Mamytov congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the beginning of the month of Ramadan and expressed wishes for peace and unity for the country.
