The "Lanzhou" station has become the starting point for the first container train heading to "Dushanbe-2" along the route China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan — Tajikistan. This was reported by Podrobno.uz.

The train will cover a distance of more than 3,500 kilometers in a period of 18 to 20 days, making it an important element of the new transport corridor in the region.

The initiative was implemented within the framework of a joint venture UTK International Logistics Co. Ltd, established in China with the participation of the Uzbek company JSC "Uztemiryulcontainer," which played a key role in organizing the transportation.

The container train consists of eight 40-foot containers filled with consumer goods and construction equipment.

The launch of this route has become a practical result of the agreements reached in 2025 at the meeting of the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan held in Dushanbe.
